Alternative Care Services

Alternative Care Services (ACS) is located in South Fargo and provides crisis stabilization services for individuals struggling with the symptoms of their mental health or substance use. Often referred to as the crisis residential unit (CRU), this program is a 15 bed residential treatment program combined with an immediate access assessment and triage. ACS is staffed 24/7 and can accept individuals in psychiatric crisis 24 hours a day for assessment and referral purposes. Dependent upon the immediate indiviual need and assessment, individuals may be admitted to the residential area of the facility for ongoing monitoring and supportive interventions while others may receive support, resources, referrals and wrap around care in the triage and assessment area. Staff are available in both areas to provide verbal and emotional support, safety monitoring, skills integration services, crisis intervention services, withdrawl management services, and psychiatric stabilization support to individuals that are seeking services and care at ACS.

Next Step
|
Next Step is a short-term 15 bed residential treatment program which provides assistance and support to individuals working towards a lifestyle of sober living. While staying at Next Step, residents attend recovery focused treatment groups facilitated by local human service center staff as well as skill building groups facilitated monitoring, and intervention to the individuals staying there while working to help build skills necessary to maintain a recovery focused lifestyle after they return to independent. Located near West Acres Mall and Southeast Human Service Center.

Serenity

Serenity is an 8 bed residential treatment program which provides assistance and support to individuals working towards a lifestyle of sober living. While staying at Serenity, residents attend recovery focused treatment groups facilitated by local human service center staff as well as skill building groups facilitated by on-site residential staff to support their recovery efforts. The facility is staffed 24/7. Staff provide support, monitoring, interventions and skill building to the individuals staying there with a focus on recovery based sober living, returning to the workforce, and obtaining housing for when they complete the program. Located in downtown Fargo.

Hope Haven is a transitional residential facility offering 8 beds and 7 individual single bedroom independent living apartments for adults with mental health challenges. 24 hour awake staff to monitor the needs and safety of the residents. |
