​Alternative Care Services
​
Crisis Stabilization 

Alternative Care Services (ACS) located in South Bismarck provides crisis stabilization services for individuals 18 or older struggling with the symptoms of their mental health or substance use. This program, also  referred to as the crisis residential unit (CRU), is a 15 bed residential treatment program which provides assessment and triage in coordination with the local human service center crisis team. The program is staffed 24/7 and can accept individuals in psychiatric crisis 24 hours a day  for assessment and referral. Depending on the individuals immediate need and assessment, they may be admitted to the residential area of the facility for ongoing monitoring and supportive interventions  or may receive support, resources, referrals and wrap around care in the triage and assessment area. Staff are available in both areas to provide verbal and emotional support, safety monitoring, skills integration services, crisis intervention services, withdrawl management services, and psychiatric stabilization support to individuals that are seeking services.​

Sahnish House
​Transitional Residential

​Sahnish House is a Transitional Living Residential facility for persons 18 years of age or older with Serious Mental Illness including co-occurring disorders.  Dacotah Foundation staff provie 24 hours/day awake staff to support the needs of the residents while coordinating ongoing care with the local regional human services team. Located in North Bismarck

Arbor House is a Transitional Living Residential facility for persons 18 years of age or older with Serious Mental Illness including co-occurring disorders. Dacotah Foundation staff provide 24 hours/day awake staff to support the needs of the residents while coordinating  care with the local regional human services team. Located in South Bismarck.

​Edwinton Place 
​
Permanent Supportive Housing

Edwinton Place is a permanent supportive housing facility providing 40 independent living apartments for homeless individuals.  The facility and program are a joint effort of the Burleigh County Housing Authority, Dacotah Foundation and community partners. It provides a safe supportive housing option for homeless individuals seeking permanent housing.  Dacotah Foundation staff are on site and  available 24/7 to help individuals make positive changes to their lives and work to remain housed in a safe supportive environment. Located in South Bismarck.
